Some of the skills we’ll dive into are:
Self-Awareness: Personal and social identities, growth mindset, identifying strengths, interests, values.
Self-Management: Managing emotions and stress, setting and working toward goals, resilience, trying new things.
Social Awareness: Taking another’s perspective, empathy, diversity, kindness, advocating for oneself.
Relationship Skills: Communication, friendship, overcoming peer pressure, making friends, conflict resolution.
Responsible Decision-Making: Identifying problems and solutions, anticipating consequences, thoughtfulness, considering one’s actions, critical thinking.
Each weekly workshop will focus on a single topic and will incorporate a combination of games, activities, reflection, journaling, crafts, projects, sharing, and discussion to learn and practice the fine art of being a good human.
