Youth Mentoring

Be Brave. Be Kind. Be You.

Mentoring For Your Tween

Hi there! I’m Maegan – a youth mentor based in Portland, OR, USA, where I live with my husband, three kids, and two dogs.

I’m also a life coach, circle facilitator, and former teacher, and it was in these spaces that the seeds for bringing all of my passions together in the youth mentoring space were planted. I created Brave Hearts out of a strong desire to help young people gather the tools they need to thrive and navigate life.

Witnessing the incredible healing, rebuilding, and growth that happens within the adults in my coaching practice and circles, and hearing from parents and teachers about the challenges their children and students are facing…the pieces started to fall into place.

After so many “If I only knew then what I know now” conversations, I knew I wanted to find a way to jumpstart the learning and cultivate the personal empowerment that was happening with my adult clients and give young people the tools they need to move confidently through their world. To grow and develop as strong, capable, and compassionate humans who deeply know themselves and what they stand for.

So here I am, bringing together my experience and education as a teacher, coach, circle facilitator, and youth mentor to create intentional spaces for our young people to shine. To find their voices, know their inherent worth, and to be a part of a community of like-hearted peers who are strong brave change-makers.

My mentoring and workshop spaces are open to young people of all identities – regardless of race, color, sex, gender expression, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, or disability. All are welcome here.
